Double B Equestrian Center was founded in 2004 by Leonard (Bud) Brewer and his son Rick Brewer. Together Bud and Rick built the covered arena and the barns with the goal of making Double B the premier all around riding and horse training facility in the north Dallas area.
Rick and Kat Brewer; the Brewer’s aim to run a family friendly facility that offers boarding in a casual, friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy an evening ride after work in the lighted arena or a gentle pasture riding experience on a weekend.
Conveniently located in Wylie, Tx, Double B is minutes from George Bush Tollway or I75. If you like trail riding, Double B is an easy ten minute drive to Trinity Trail, a 26 mile equestrian trail along Lake Lavon. Trinity Trail is free for horseback riders and hikers and is maintained by the all-volunteer Trinity Trail Preservation Association.
Double B is situated on 46 beautiful acres with a mixture of pasture and woods. The facility has a 120×250 feet covered arena, several outdoor arenas, a cross country jumping course in the horse pasture and trails in the woods. The main barn has 60 stalls, 19 of which have attached private paddocks. There is also a 12 stall self-care barn.
Double B is home to a few well-known and respected horse trainers in both Western and English disciplines.
